Things I WILL miss....

1. Riding the ferry.
2. BBQ joints.
3. The most fantastic view from the house!
4. The meals on Wednesday nights.
5. The hugs from Preschoolers.
6. A cooling breeze from the sound.
7. Friends who share their garden bounty!
8. Fantastic co-workers.
9. The choir music!
10. The thrill that I feel when I see a blue heron or an egret along one of the canals.
11. Likewise for the turtles hanging on the logs in the swamp.
12. The surprise of seeing an eagle, a gray fox, a bear, or a new kitten or two.
13. The beautiful moonrise over the sound.
14. The Wet Paint Society (what a great little group!)
15. Walking to work.
16. Collards!
17. Having more than 100 bosses who overlook my many typos.
18. The Christmas Concert.
19. A dentist who plays a mean Mr. Grinch.
20. The sound of children's laughter outside my window.
21. Watching the transformation of shy children into confident youth.
22. The KnitWits.
23. Youth Christmas Caroling.
24. Having a cemetery in my back yard.
25. Having several sets of substitute parents.
26. Friends who rarely say "no" to a favor.
27. Friends who know exactly what I need before I even ask.
28. Friends who give and give and never ask for anything in return.
29. Friends who feel like family.
30. Being loved and accepted without reservation.
31. People who share their love in so many generous ways.
